Overview
I designed the cover for Tarde de Marzo with the intention of conveying its acoustic warmth and intimate essence. The artwork evokes a dreamlike and melancholic atmosphere, exploring sensations tied to memory and the passage of time. It invites the viewer to dwell in the ephemeral, visually extending the emotional tone of the music.
Approach
The visual language is built around a sense of nostalgic texture: grainy surfaces reminiscent of analog formats, soft colors, and vignettes layered into a subtle visual palimpsest. Each element was crafted to reinforce a sensory memory, where concept and technique intertwine to complement the sonic experience of the album. The format and composition were optimized for Spotify’s digital layout, ensuring visual impact at every scale.
